Clamping: Close both sides of the mold by clamping units before injecting the mold with material. Both halves can then be attached to the injection molding machine and the other half can slide. When the clamping unit pushes the two halves together, the material is injected and the halves are held tightly during the material injection.
Injection: The plastic are fed into the injection molding machine using a hopper. These materials move towards the mold by the injection device. The plastics melts by the heat around the barrel and the pressure, and then injected into the mold. This process is called injection.
Cooling: During cooling phase, the plastic inside the mold starts to cool after it comes into contact with the inner mold. As the plastic in the mold cools, it solidifies into the desired shapes.
Ejection: The final phase is to eject the plastic part from the machine after the part cools. This is done by the ejection system. When the mold open, the plastic molded part is ejected out. It needs force as the part shrinks and sticks to the mold. After injection, the mold can be closed again and another shot can be injected to restart the process.
